The Wolf of Wall Street
First screened in January 2014
Director: Martin Scorsese. Cast: Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill, Kyle Chandler, Margot Robbie, P.J. Byrne, John Bernthal, Kenneth Choi, Henry Zebrowski, Brian Sacca, Matthew McConaughey, Joanna Lumley, Jean Dujardin, Cristin Milioti, Spike Jonze, Rob Reiner, Ethan Suplee, Jon Favreau, Christine Ebersole, Jake Hoffman, Barry Rothbart, Shea Whigham, Katarina Cas, Aya Cash, John Spinogatti, Stephanie Kurtzuba, Ted Griffin, Fran Lebowitz, Jordan Belfort. Screenplay: Terence Winter (based on the book by Jordan Belfort).

Twitter Capsule: One-hand tally of interesting shots. Wonky edits abound. Flatly plotted in story and style. Elephantiasis.

VOR:   DiCaprio wakes, Scorsese snoozes. I guess any Marty movie holds some cinephile interest, and it did drum up some cultural foment, albeit on what I consider specious terms.
