Full of nods to Tsai's other films but I barely know them and still had a ball. Opulently weird. Roy Andersson does Cremaster?

"Originality" fits oddly here; Tsai openly repeats himself, even treating encased self-repetition as something close to a theme. But his wavelength remains unique, so it's fresh nonetheless.
