In Brief: Captures something powerful in boys' camaraderie and boys' loneliness. Much else strikes me as sentimental or forced.

VOR: ⑤  Initial, unexpected impact was just the start. Tricky project remains a touchstone film and a lens many apply in understanding boyhood.
