Speaking in Strings
First screened in February 2020
Director: Paola di Florio. Documentary about the American violinist Nadja Salerno-Sonnenborg, who achieved fame and sparked controversy at an early age and had a tempestuous public and private life.

Twitter Capsule: Already feels compared compared to modern musician bios. Still, interesting on mental health and tolls of fame.

VOR:   Principally of interest to fans of Salerno-Sonnenberg, but it's a unique study of recovery from suicidality. Smart on gender, too, without being too blunt.
