Rigid formal mannerisms serving "It turned out I was the student" clichés. Impressive in its way but I sorta hated it.

Architecture films are often sensory and intellectual delights but can feel stultified cinematically, reprising familiar tropes. This one's odd, at least, but not quite fresh.
