Radical Grace
First screened in October 2015
Director: Rebecca Parrish. Documentary about U.S. Catholic nuns being antagonized by the Vatican for adopting secular dress and campaigning for social justice issues. Interview subjects include Sister Chris Schenk, Sister Simone Campell, and Sister Jean Hughes.

Twitter Capsule: Loving, principled, mobilizing record of US nuns bravely demanding secular justice. Modest technique, but inspiring.

VOR:   Eye-opening about institutionalized sexism in the Catholic church, including surveillance and censures of nuns perceived as insubordinate. Aesthetically bare-bones. Some questions unasked.
