Twitter Capsule: (2012) A glorious unbiopic, remarrying cinema to movement, its ghostly temporalities suffused with tension, pleasure, warmth, loss.

Second Capsule: (2019) Finds its own cinematic language of adoration, movement, and longing, three of the great subjects of Bausch's art. Gorgeous.

VOR:   A terrific handling of dance on screen. An inventive and full-hearted reimagining of the documentary tribute. Inspired use of 3D. Cut with panache.
