In Brief: Script a grab-bag of nonsense. Depp gives the only solid performance. Even expensive designs are ill-served by lighting.

VOR: ②  Eggers still seems like a storyboardist first, a director second. Images abut one another, rather than mutually infect—bad for a vampire flick.
