Screenplay: Alan Jay Lerner (based on the stage musical by Alan Jay Lerner and Frederick Loewe, based in turn on the play Pygmalion by George Bernard Shaw).

 Twitter Capsule: Cecil Beaton and sterling song score carry it. Harrison's Henry is still a creep. Low on energy and cinematic style.

VOR: ②  Loyal transfer of legendary musical has some archival value and durable cultural currency, yet barely tries to embrace a new medium. Only risk is casting a lead who can't sing.
