In Brief: First third feels overplayed in story and performance. Then tricks start flowing from the sleeves. Unspectacular but solid.

VOR: ③  By the end, Malice's generic loyalties emerge. That we don't spot them earlier is a virtue. We took polished 90s thrillers too much for granted.
