Twitter Capsule: Like 12 Angry Men, most bullying when it appears most strenuously just. But the quieter stuff works.

Second Capsule: Deserves the flak it gets for stale script and images, but it does try. Tracy, Hepburn sell it well.

VOR:   Everything that makes this giant hit a political disappointment makes it a valuable document: this is how a studio thought it needed to push through a plot about interracial romance.
