Particularly low, slow, and portentous theme-music reprise; slow tracks over decrepit waterside stone properties; (Xanadu?); Charitable-work party narr by AP in vo, 1979, now living in NY; Anthony and Mary, but AP misses them (mom raised them & supervised education); dissolve fb to Fredo's assassination, amid church ceremony; DK arriving in back of church; press kits vs. questions from press about Mob ties and villainy; AG almost in fisticuffs about getting into party; and heeeeeeeere's Sofia, struggling even with lines like "Hi, Vincent. I remember you"; resurrection of Sicily, $100 million for the poor of Sicily from Vito Corleone; AP upset that Anthony wants to quit law school for music; AP: "Every family... has bad... memories"; A: "I will always be your sun, but I will never having anything to do with your business" black, copper, and burgundy; DK has shown up perfectly color-matched!; Tony knows that you killed Fredo; I think that was a shameful ceremony; Vincent is Al's bastard son?; and Joe Mantegna is against him?; he's in leather-jacket street-hood clothes; Talia bitching about how JM has ruined their old enterprise in NYC; AG awfully quick on the temper-trigger; AP doesn't seem like the same guy; AG bites JM's ear, gets invited into family photo, as cermony just drags on; cake and dancing (Oscar clip); C+
