Genghis Blues
First screened in February 2020
Director: Roko Belić. Documentary about blind U.S.-born blues musician Paul Peña and the midlife enthusiasm for throat-singing that takes him on a surprise tour of Tuva.

Twitter Capsule: One of those documentaries that gets by on lively human interest and little-seen locales. Stylistically pretty bare.

VOR:   An engaging 80 minutes, though deeper, more ambivalent stories about culture tourism and about living with disability are begging for richer uptake.
