Dawson City, Frozen Time
First screened in December 2017
Director: Bill Morrison. Documentary about the miraculous recovery of over 1,000 old celluloid reels buried underground in the Canadian Yukon, and the cultural and communal history that surrounds this amazing discovery.

Twitter Capsule: An archival feat evocative of places, times, and interwoven histories. A lode of feeling as well as fact.

VOR:   Invaluable as the next best thing to witnessing the footage first-hand (which, as the movie reminds us, may not last!). Rich as sociology, too.
