The White Diamond
First screened in January 2006
Director: Werner Herzog. Documentary. Profile of Graham Dorrington, an English designer, engineer, and pilot of helium-powered airships, who intends to use these craft to survey the rain-forest canopy of Guyana.

Twitter Capsule: Granted, Timothy Treadwell is a hard act to equal, but this doc's arc and character profile feel too predictable.

VOR:   Consistency and reach of Herzog's visions make even peripheral studies valuable. Still, for someone so moved by rule-breakers, his template has gotten pretty fixed.
