Sunset (2018)
aka Napszállta
First screened in April 2019
Director: László Nemes. Cast: Juli Jakab, Vlad Ivanov, Levenete Molnár, Julia Jakubowska, Marcin Czarnik, Evelin Dobos, Susanne Wuest, Judit Bárdos, Urs Rechn, Mónika Balsai, Sándor Zsótér, János Kulka, Christian Harting. Screenplay: László Nemes, Clara Royer, and Matthieu Taponier.

Twitter Capsule: Hats, beautiful hats. Well-mounted but elephantine nightmare of pre-WWI Europe as a purgatory of sinister riddles. Bad coda.

Second Capsule: Are Sunset, Suspiria, and Transit part of some Zombie Carcass of Europe Cinematic Universe? Is Brexit its abject cosplay convention?

VOR:   I've gone from feeling perhaps too hard on the film to perhaps too generous. Whatever its lapses, excesses, or indulgences, it certainly gambles.
