Nick's Flick Picks: Search by Year
These almanacs include reviews, grade-only entries, Top Ten lists, and other timely features. Elsewhere, check out the alphabetical
indexes, the catalogue of full-length reviews, and my updated lists of 100
best films and personal favorites. In any case, enjoy, and e-mail me
with thoughts or questions about the reviewed or the unreviewed movies.
Since 1995, excluding films I sometimes see early at festivals, most films have been catalogued according to the year they debuted
on U.S. screens. For that reason, some non-English titles and independently produced films may be designated by a later year than that in which they bowed
elsewhere on the globe. Before 1995, non-English titles are generally catalogued under the years in which they premiered in their home countries.
