Twitter Capsule: A colorful and energetic diversion but firmly mediocre as cinema or storytelling. Interesting nuances vanish in bombast.

Second Capsule: Rocketman's photography and sound mix are often in a shocking state. I often wondered if the intensely synthetic look was a nod to artifice.

VOR: ②  I appreciate Rocketman's fantastical deviations from the most rudimentary biopic boilerplates, but they're inconsistent and hardly predominant.
