Pillow Talk
First screened in May 2003
Director: Michael Gordon. Cast: Doris Day, Rock Hudson, Tony Randall, Thelma Ritter, Nick Adams, Julia Meade, Allen Jenkins, Marcel Dalio, Lee Patrick, Mary McCarty, Alex Gerry, Hayden Rorke, Valerie Allen, Jacqueline Beer. Screenplay: Stanley Shapiro and Maurice Richlin (based on a screen story by Russell Rouse and Clarence Greene).

Twitter Capsule: I get why this has fans. It earns some laughs, but I don't much feel its charm. Feels strategized, like a battle plan.

VOR:   Not necessarily the most critically lionized of the Day-Hudson comedies but by many miles the most influential and culturally ensconced. Better as a time capsule than a film.
