Twitter Capsule: Silly at times; tenuous when teaching Lessons. But fleet, clever, and great fun. Unexpectedly Amélie-ish. Kidman a hoot.

VOR:   Uncommonly sure-footed as a children's film that might amuse adults, and as a deeply weird film that nonetheless plays as mass entertainment. Pulled off against heavy odds.
