Director: Chantal Akerman. Documentary about the filmmaker's mother, amidst old age and illness, and of the essential relationships of her later years, including the one with Chantal.

Twitter Capsule: Austerely affecting record of the static time and closed spaces of old age. Made more poignant by subsequent events.

VOR:   Akerman's last film would always have resonated—especially this film, under these circumstances. Quietly innovative as a study of intimacy and distance.
