Mrs. Fang
First screened in September 2017
Director: Wang Bing. Documentary about the final days of a woman dying in a rural region of southern China, surrounded by her family members.

Twitter Capsule: In a way, there's no bigger story to tell. In another, there's not quite enough here. In another, there's a bit too much.

VOR:   The central event in the film is both universally and culturally evocative. Even the interludes that might have been cut tell us a lot about a remote place.
