Stone, Phoenix are assets. Her arc richer than his. Still, clunky script, no feel for milieu, icky self-portrait.

Fitfully realized; at times downright lazy and disjointed, like so much late-career Allen. Still, ideas bear consideration, and it's a touchstone for Allen's thoughts on guilt.
