The Iron Ministry
First screened in October 2014
Director: J.P. Sniadecki. Documentary about passengers, facilities, and sensory experiences aboard China's vast system of internal railways.

Twitter Capsule: Gorgeous doc, shot entirely on passenger trains, offers metonymic portrait of modern middle-class China.

VOR:   The modus operandi of the Sensory Ethnography Lab is starting to yield predictable patterns. Sniadecki preserves striking impressions, but some deeper, un-S.E.L. delving wouldn't hurt.
