The Grand Bizarre
First screened in September 2018
Director: Jodie Mack. Experimental collage following textiles and their patterns, both repeated and unique, around various global sites.

Twitter Capsule: A Baraka of knits and purls, a Koyaanisqatsi of threadcount. I respected its projects and wanted to cry Uncle.

Second Capsule: To be fair, the film is colorful, creative, and intriguing. I do think it could swap runtimes with the short preceding it, Those Who Desire.

VOR:   I hugely respect the conception and effort involved. Still, I get much less from the film than from Mack's press blurbs. Not even sure they match.
