I felt more worried for Moore's lonelier Gloria than for García's, giving this very close remake its own arc and tone.
Of all the movies Julianne Moore has made, Gloria Bell is the one that most feels like you're just hanging with her. So I obviously love it.
Hard to reward originality in a near-facsimile of a prior film, but this kind of vehicle is so rare today (and rarely done well) that it's valuable.
