Flesh for Frankenstein
aka Andy Warhol's Frankenstein
First screened in April 2012
Director: Paul Morrissey. Cast: Udo Kier, Monique van Vooren, Joe Dallesandro, Arno Juerging, Nicoletta Elmi, Marco Liofredi, Srdjan Zelenovic, Dalila Di Lazzaro, Cristina Gaioni, Rosita Torosh, Liù Bosisio, Imelda Marani. Screenplay: Paul Morrissey (based on characters, at least, created by Mary Shelley).

Twitter Capsule: Sure, it pushes Shelley in unusual directions, but sex and gore feel simultaneously nasty and half-hearted.

VOR:   As long as there are graduate students, people will pore over this outré, somewhat self-serious kitschfest. But its listlessness dismays, and Blood for Dracula clobbers it.
