Enemies: A Love Story
First screened in August 2014
Director: Paul Mazursky. Cast: Ron Silver, Margaret Sophie Stein, Lena Olin, Anjelica Huston, Alan King, Judith Malina, Rita Karin, Phil Leeds, Elya Baskin, Paul Mazursky, Zypora Spaisman, L.J. Dollinger. Screenplay: Roger L. Simon and Paul Mazursky (based on the novel by Isaac Bashevis Singer).

Twitter Capsule: You can argue details; not all actors make equal impressions. But storytelling is adult, with sorrow and wit.

VOR:   Exciting to see Hollywood take on Singer's storytelling in more loyal terms than Yentl attempted, and to couch sexual roundelay and Holocaust history in such nervy tandem.
