Death Becomes Her
First screened in December 2015
Director: Robert Zemeckis. Cast: Meryl Streep, Goldie Hawn, Bruce Willis, Isabella Rossellini, Ian Ogilvy, Sydney Pollack, Alaina Reed-Hall, Nancy Fish, Adam Storke, Mary Ellen Trainor. Screenplay: Martin Donovan and David Koepp.

Twitter Capsule: Zemeckis a modest image-maker but a comedy director worth relishing. Willis wobbles but women, script on fire.

VOR:   Refreshing to see visual effects lavished on a character-based and woman-centered comedy, whose stars take merry joy in their industry's idiocy. Conventional in other respects.
