Citizenfour
First screened in November 2014
Director: Laura Poitras. Documentary record of Edward Snowden's initial meetings in Hong Kong with filmmaker Laura Poitras and journalist Glenn Greenwald, during which he famously divulged the secret surveillance operations National Security Agency.

Twitter Capsule: Loath to make Snowden the story, yet access to him is its trump. Snags a bit on this paradox, but riveting, important.

VOR:   There were three patrons in my theater, a week after this opened. Get it together, people! Whatever its limits as a film (and they're negligible), this is a valuable time-capsule and an urgent exposé.
