Director: Charlie Siskel. Documentary about William Powell, the author of the infamous Anarchist Cookbook, who is slowly grasping the scope of his book's influence. Twitter Capsule:
As with Vivian Maier, a well-chosen subject gets a an incisive but uneven treatment, more limited as it goes.
Siskel is a solid storyteller but tends to enforce pre-determined narratives onto his subjects. As a record of defensivness and dismay, it resonates.
